Identify what is being accepted
The document should name the selected product revision, commercial scope, price, validity and acceptance terms. Record which party receives it and which action counts as acceptance in your agreed business process. Do not send a signature request for a draft whose configuration can still change without a controlled revision.
Specify the provider connection
Identify the selected document or signature provider and assess the connection required for electronic acceptance. Define the fields sent, document identifier, recipient details and returned status. The implementation brief should name the connection owner and explain how the signature record will remain attached to the corresponding proposal.
Test incomplete and changed cases
Verify declined, expired and interrupted requests, as well as duplicate status notifications. A changed configuration may require another proposal and acceptance step. Keep previous commercial revisions retrievable and assign the people responsible for the terms and acceptance method used by your business.
