Prepare the working conditions
Identify the phone, tablet or laptop the salesperson uses and the connection available at the site. Test loading, touch interaction, document viewing and any intended AR feature on that device. Offline behavior must be explicitly scoped and tested rather than assumed because a product works in a desktop browser.
Keep observation and approval distinct
During the visit, review the saved design with the buyer, note roof and enclosure preferences, and record the reference point for each measured dimension. Photograph the proposed wall interface or access issue with the customer's permission. Mark a value as measured only after the relevant check. If the footprint changes, record the revised product choices and send any price or mounting question to the assigned reviewer.
Check the follow-up record
The assigned team needs the saved design, measurement status, notes relevant to the next action and matching quotation revision. Test interrupted connectivity and duplicate requests under the agreed workflow. Do not leave the usable project specification only on the visiting salesperson's device.
