Establish what the preview represents
For a visual-only tool, appearance is the main deliverable. Inspect whether the particular implementation also stores dimensions, validates combinations or produces commercial lines. A buyer needs to know which product decisions the displayed scene represents and which still require a separate calculation or review.
Make a visible option invalid
Choose a screen or glazing option permitted at one width but excluded at a larger width in your catalogue. Increase the width and inspect the scene, selected-option list and quote together. Check whether the workflow removes the incompatible choice, explains the conflict or requires review. Reopen the result to see whether it retains a consistent selection.
Match the picture to what is being sold
Elite Aluminum's Configurix project includes product configurators and automatic item-SKU quotations. Request a demonstration with your own enclosure rules and compare the displayed accessories with the quoted items. Agree how substitutions and unresolved selections appear to the buyer, so the presentation and proposal describe the same purchase.
