Capture the site questions early
Ask for the project postcode and record the proposed footprint, roof and enclosure choices. Check the property's actual access route, storage space and mounting location rather than inferring them from the address. For a constrained route, note gate width, turns, steps and where components could be unloaded. Keep these questions with the design so the survey can confirm the information affecting delivery and installation scope.
Retain a consistent chosen product
Keep the selected range and option details with the inquiry and proposal. Save alternatives as identifiable configurations and explain what changes in the product and included service scope. This lets the next salesperson or surveyor continue the same project rather than rebuild it from images.
Prepare a clear internal handoff
Define who receives the approved measurements, proposal revision and relevant documents. Assign survey and scheduling prerequisites under your operating process. Test a post-survey change to ensure that product choices and commercial lines are reviewed before the project is released to installation.
